Your parents amplified the need to succeed placed upon them. Their control extended as far as arranging your parents marriage.

They gave your mother a good life and taught her that hard work is the only way to survive. She and her husband immigrated to simlandia and worked hard for everything they had. Grandmother made everything from scratch. Sheltered by their parents- you managed to age to YA without a single skill. Have them become a paranormal investigator too and tackle all of this with a double life as a media darling. It's difficult because hauntings are constantly breaking your equipment. Basically, they're one of those 'ghost hunters', trying to catch ghosts and hauntings on tape. Try to be a social influencer while living in a haunted house. You 'win' the challenge after being able to buy a house for yourself. You're supposed to get money by either finding it or selling stuff you find in street sales. Don't sell stuff you find inside the garbage cans (sometimes, you can literally find a whole ass stove that you can sell for 2k+ simoleons, which pretty much negates the challenge). Have your sim survive by grabbing food off garbage cans, fishing, planting and sleep in park benches. This was honestly one of my favorite saves, because my thief ended up seducing one of the detectives and I got, for the first time, 'enemies with benefits'. Remove the thief from their family after a few days and 'reset' the challenge by removing all stolen goods from their house. The way I did in my game was to forcefully add the thief sim into the detective's family and have them have a personal jail in their house. If the thief lose the fight, then they're in jail. If you want to make it more interesting, make detective sims that are always on the 'prowl' and if they catch your sim stealing/using their thief costume, then simulate them being in jail after fighting. Put some limitations, like, your sim needs to be in an outfit to steal, can only do so during the night, etc.

You can use a mod that either decreases the cooldown for swiping and/or doesn't need the klepto trait to steal stuff.

Vampire person living through different lives - play with short lifespan, grab a bunch of ideas of what the vampire could be (family person, prostitute, drug addict, baker owner, farmer, etc, etc depends on what expansion packs/mods you use), randomize those ideas and live through those.
